Presenting in Chicago Tonight - Kateri Center!

Tonight at the Kateri Center of Chicago from 6-8pm, I will be performing a poetry reading, facilitating a discussion and workshop attendees will participate in an interactive writing-poetry session on Native youth identity, empowerment, healing and justice!

"CHICAGO – The American Indian Speakers Bureau, AISB, will be hosting another event this Friday at the Kateri Center featuring Cecelia LaPointe. She is an Anishinaabekwe of mixed heritage who is a part of Kchiwiikwedong, Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Ms. LaPointe will be performing a poetry reading, facilitating a discussion and workshop attendees will participate in an interactive writing-poetry session on Native youth identity, empowerment, healing and justice."
